Established in 1984, Medical Imaging has flourished under the leadership of its CEO and Chief of Radiology, Bradley A. Jabour, M.D.
Dr Jabour’s vision of a dedicated women’s imaging facility and comprehensive breast care center is built around a patient care philosophy which combines a dynamic team, technology and technique approach to imaging.

Bradley A. Jabour, M.D.
CEO/Chief of Radiology
Dr Jabour is a nationally recognized neuroradiologist with more than 20 years experience in academic and clinical practice. He completed his fellowship in Neuroradiology at the UCLA Medical Center. He served on the Faculty of Radiology in both Head and Neck and Neuroradiology at the UCLA Medical Center. Dr Jabour was appointed on the UCLA faculty as a professor and went on to become Chief of Neuroradiology at the UCLA/VA Medical Center.
Dr Jabour has authored more than 40 peer review research articles on neuroradiology, vascular and head and neck radiology, and has written several chapters in leading radiology textbooks. In addition to being a sought-after lecturer, Dr Jabour received the prestigious Certificate of Merit Award from the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in 1991 for his research in defining the role of PET scanning in detecting cancer in the extracranial head and neck.

Geeta Iyengar, M.D.
Dr. Iyengar was born and raised in India. She graduated from the University of Pune, India where she received her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in radiology. She then completed her radiology residency in Aberdeen, U.K. and was a fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists. She completed an oncology imaging fellowship at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, and later joined as faculty of the Grampian University Hospitals Trust, Aberdeen, U.K. in 2002. She was involved in a large multi-center clinical trial in Europe, assessing the feasibility of CAD in breast screening programs. In 2004, Dr. Iyengar became Assistant Professor in the Radiology Department, Women’s and Body Imaging Division at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine, Los Angeles, California. Dr. Iyengar takes a keen interest in resident/fellow teaching and is actively involved in clinical research projects. Dr. Iyengar’s specialties are Breast Imaging and Breast Cancer.

Amy Yaghmai, M.D.
Dr Yaghmai is a well known neuroradiologist with a background in neuroscience research. In 2007, Dr. Yaghmai joined the MICSC team from SUNY Downstate where she was an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Radiology. Dr. Yaghmai received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and her Masters Degree in Neuroscience from the Medical College of Virginia. She then proceeded to obtain her Medical Degree from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Medicine. Beginning with her internship in Internal Medicine at White Memorial Medical Center, Dr Yaghmai later went on to complete her radiology residency at SUNY Downstate in New York City. She completed her two-year fellowship in neuroradiology at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Yaghmai has expert knowledge in the fields of diagnostic and advanced neuroradiology, body imaging and women's imaging.

Rita R. Perrella, M.D.
Director of Women´s Imaging
Dr Perrella is a well-known radiologist with over 20 years of clinical practice experience. She graduated from UC Davis Medical School and completed her fellowship in abdominal imaging at the UCLA School of Medicine, where she later became an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology. Dr Perrella served as an Assistant Clinical Professor/Consultant at the UCLA/VA Hospital Medical Center and Olive View Medical Center before being appointed to the Clinical Faculty at the UCLA School of Medicine. For 12 years, Dr Perrella was the Medical Director of the Wilshire Outpatient Radiology facility in Santa Monica. She has co-authored three prominent books on radiology and written and presented numerous presentations at professional conferences. Dr Perrella’s reputation has been solidified by her contribution to more than 30 peer reviewed articles and as a course lecturer and guest speaker.
